Functional Capacity Evaluation

The WorkSTEPS System FCE was developed to accommodate as many different clinicians, equipment products, and specific specialty tests as possible. The core test follows the exact protocols of our WorkSTEPS test, has the same data collection forms, and data entry tests, and does a similar database comparison with narrative report generation. The rest of the test can be customized right out of the computer by the clinician and they can even add protocols and data as needed on a case by case basis. Thus, every clinician's specific needs can be met while they are assured "familiarity" with all aspects of the test, the software, and the reports. Furthermore, once the data collections form is completed and entered, the narrative is automatically generated. Dictation and manual production of reports are both virtually alleviated thereby saving the licensed clinician time and energy that can be utilized to provide therapy services.

FLEXIBLE

*FCE may be customized in seconds via menu to accommodate any diagnosis and length of time for test

*Open modules allow clinician to add specialty tests as needed

*Narrative is correlated to your facility's existing equipment, resulting in minimal startup costs for most clinics

*Test protocols expertly simplified so that clinical staff
can easily learn and perform testing

COMPREHENSIVE

*Test may include up to 8 hours of testing

*Menu of automatically generated FCE reports including:

a) Comprehensive Version
b) Condensed Version
c) Job Status Report
d) Timed Billing Statement

Due to similarities, your clinic may easily upgrade to include other WorkSTEPS standardized services such as the employment testing employment program.

 

AUTOMATED

*Data entry is automatically compared to WorkSTEPS database as well as other recognized norms

*Percentiles, coefficients of variation, assessments, quality assurance, and validity are all built into software to insure accrate reporting

*Menu of narrtive reports at the touch of a key

*Once support personnel enters data, entire report may be automatically generated

*Practioner performs the test, but computerized report generation requires NO interaction by the clinician except signature.

*Complete narrative received within minutes of entry via modem

TOUCH KEY REPORTS


The following reports can be generated at the touch of a key:

*A comprehensive version
(8-10 pages)

*A condensed version
(4-5 pages)

*A physician's job status report
(2-pages)

*A time specific billing statement

The billing statement automatically lists the amount of time spent performing EACH test component as well as the TOTAL TIME that substantiates the cost of the entire test. It should be noted that legislation has been passed in some states, including Texas, that requires this information for reimbursement.
