Pre-Offer Agility Testing
Post-Offer Comprehensive Evaluation
Upper Quadrant / Carpal Tunnel Evaluation
PRE – OFFER AGILITY
- Before an offer of employment is made to a candidate, a Pre-Employment Post Offer Testing may be given to identify whether or not an individual has the physical demand capacity required to perform a level of work. Medical history is not collected nor exams administered; the Pre-Employment Post Offer Testing simply establishes the physical demand criteria (PDC) level at which the applicant can safely perform. The results are based only upon the applicant’s strength, the ability to meet the essential function requirements.
POST – OFFER COMPREHENSIVE
- The candidate submits a medical history for review with a clinician, undergoes a number of medical measurements, maximum effort lifting and essential functions tests, to objectively quantify pre-existing conditions and cumulative traumas and must demonstrate the capability to safely perform the essential functions of his / her job. The information gathered through the post offer employment testing may also be used as a baseline for comparison should there ever be an injury and / or rehabilitation necessary.
UPPER QUADRANT / CARPEL TUNNEL
- Used to determine capability as it relates to repetitive job function, rather than heavy material handling tasks. This test may be used independently, as part of the comprehensive Post Offer Employment testing, or as a component to the Injured Worker Fit for Duty test if necessary. Results are based upon medical risk criteria.
