WorkSTEPS System Services

THE WORKSTEPS SYSTEM

Licensees receive all programs, systems, and protocols necessary to complete WorkSTEPS' proprietary pre-placement and post-employment testing tests which to the best of our knowledge meet the standards and protocols of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Bureau of National Affairs (BNA), and the National Institute of Occupational and Safety and Health (NIOSH).

  1. Test Protocols:
    • Medical release forms (English/Spanish)
    • Drug testing procedures
    • Physical characteristics, strength, and range of motion
    • Impairment measurements
    • Musculoskeletal information
    • Carpal tunnel/cumulative trauma protocols & tests
    • Job specific tasks
    • Air pack stress test (PRN)
    • Specialty tests (Isokinetics, sensory, etc)
  2. Comprehensive, easy to reference training manuals and software operating manuals; logical, easy to follow test booklets.
  3. Report generation packages which automatically separate information to produce individual employer and medical reports.
  4. Certification Process - medical personnel dedicated to the performance of WorkSTEPS tests are trained by WorkSTEPS and receive a certification in employment testing after participating in a comprehensive training procedure which includes the performance of numerous hands-on employment tests and culminates in completion of a certification diploma. CEU's for appropriate professions available.
  5. Resource information guide to reference material for objective measurements, documentation, and continuing education.
  6. Over 15 medical protocols that cover a full range of testing.
  7. A complete "library" of pre-printed forms including the following
    • Consent - explains what test involves,
    • Personal identification information,
    • Authorization - authorized performance of test and release of information (ADA approved),
    • Cardiovascular information,
    • History information - employment history,
    • WorkSTEPS Test Booklet - for collecting test data,
    • Employment evaluation summary - report employer receives,
      Medical evaluation summary - report testing office retains,
    • Ergonomic analysis bid proposals,
    • Ergonomic analysis forms,
    • ADA compliant job application,
    • Job description forms.


SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES

In addition to its pre-placement and post-employment testing program, WorkSTEPS can provide, upon request and at reasonable rates, the following additional Licensee services:

  1. Functional capacity evaluation
  2. Motion analysis job site evaluations/job descriptions
  3. Back and neck schools
  4. Impairment measurement training and report generation.
