WorkSTEPS® Provider Training

 

To maintain compliance with the WorkSTEPS® licensing agreement, a licensed health care provider from each provider facility must attend an Employment Testing Training and/or FCE Training Session taught by the WorkSTEPS® Training Staff at least every two years. Upcoming training sessions are as follows: (**all dates are contingent upon the registration requirements, as listed below)

 

Employment Testing and FCE Certification Classes

Feb. 8-10, 2008                                            St. Louis, MO  Full-Registration closed

Feb. 29 – March 2, 2008                              Odessa, TX

 

**A Minimum of 3 attendees is required to hold a class.**

 

Once the minimum number of attendees has registered, each registrant will receive a confirmation letter, agenda, and hotel info. It is strongly suggested that each registrant refrain from confirming and/or paying for travel arrangements until a confirmation letter is received. If the minimum attendance requirement is not met two weeks before the class is scheduled to begin, registrants will be notified of cancellation of the class.

 

Employment Testing Sessions cost $350.00 per person, and FCE Sessions are $150.00 per person. Dates are subject to change at the discretion of WorkSTEPSÒ, and are not final until registration requirements are met and confirmation letters are issued.

 

Payment for training may be handled by phone using a major credit card. To pay by credit card contact Jamie Gortney at (432) 366-9541. Payment by check (made payable to WorkSTEPS) may be mailed to Darren Marsh, c/o Odessa Physical Therapy, 4407 N. Grandview, Odessa, TX, 79762.  Payment is required prior to the start of the session.

 

The FCE sessions build upon protocols that are taught in the employment testing training. It is therefore not recommended that an attendee take only the FCE course, unless he/she has previously been through the employment testing session or has previous experience with the employment testing protocols.

If you have previously attended a full employment testing (3 day) training session, you may register and attend a designated portion of the class as a “Protocol Refresher”. The cost for this session is $150.00 per person, and you will be required to provide your own updated copy of the Employment Testing Training Manual, which may be downloaded and printed from the WorkSTEPS website.

The Protocol Refresher session at our annual symposium will also cover these requirements.
