Biography Edwin G. Foulke, Jr., the former Chairman
of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC) is a partner
with Jackson Lewis Schnitzler and Krupman practicing out of the firm's Greenville,
South Carolina and Washington, D.C. offices.
At Jackson Lewis, Mr. Foulke is specializing in Occupational Safety
and Health issues including representation during OSHA inspections, OSHA
compliance strategies, catastrophic accident and fatality prevention,
imminent danger response, workplace violence risk assessment and prevention,
OSHA litigation and appeals, OSHA criminal litigation, OSHA standard
rulemaking and standard litigation, preparing testimony and testifying before
Congressional Oversight Committees on workplace safety and health
issues. Mr. Foulke has been
specializing in the area of labor and employment law for over 20 years. Mr. Foulke is admitted to practice in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina
and District of Columbia and is admitted in the Fourth, Eleventh, and D.C.
Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Foulke’s writings have appeared in
numerous legal and professional journals.
As an All-American swimmer in high school and college, Mr. Foulke
received his Bachelor’s degree with honors in political science from
North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and he received
his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans,
Louisiana. Mr. Foulke also received
his L.L.M. Masters in Law (Labor Law) degree from Georgetown University Law
Center in Washington, D.C. in May of 1993 and is the recipient of many
professional honors. In December, 2000, Mr. Foulke was appointed a member of
the Bush/Cheney Transition Policy Advisory Panel for the U.S. Department of
Labor. |
